Workshop program

A training experience for photographers who want to learn how to see, feel and tell a story.

It comes from a simple restlessness: to capture the truth of a moment, not just what's visible but what isn't. Through a documentary, intimate and sensitive approach, we explore light, composition, color and intuition as narrative tools.

Day 1

The Gaze

10:00 AM to 7:00 PM — may vary by location and daylight

Introduction + inspiration

Introductions and why we photograph
Breaking creative block from everyday life

Documentary composition

Symmetry and the language of order
Back to basics: what to look for and how to start
Geometric shapes and their emotional meaning
Color psychology: choices that communicate

Reportage photography

Shots you can't miss
Observing before you shoot
Telling a story without interrupting it: presence over direction

Field practice

Real session with a couple
Flash as an ally, not the protagonist
Solving difficult light and composition scenarios
Day 2

The Voice

10:00 AM to 7:00 PM — may vary by location and daylight

Editing & judgment

An efficient workflow
Editing with intention: what am I trying to say with this image?

Selling with purpose

Adapting without losing your voice
Reaching the right clients without chasing the algorithm
Practical tools so people buy without being pushed

Portfolio & self-critique

An honest look at your social media (Instagram)
Learning to evaluate your own work without ego or self-punishment

Closing

What we lived, what we shared, what stays lit

The editing judgment we work on during day 2 is distilled into my Lightroom presets: three in black and white and three in colour, in case you want to start editing with that eye before the workshop.
