The presets are editable and results may vary depending on your camera model and the temperature settings the photo was taken with. They are not a filter you apply and forget: they are a starting point you then adjust to your own light.

Each pack contains the same three presets in two formats: the .xmp files, which are what Lightroom Classic, desktop and mobile use, and the original .lrtemplate files, kept in case you work with an older version. If you want to know why both exist and how one converts into the other without losing settings, I wrote about it here.
And if your photos look washed out once you export them for the web — with presets or without them — it is almost always the colour profile rather than the edit: Adobe RGB versus sRGB.
